Dr Ekrem Civas
Born in 1971, married with two children and graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ekrem Civas completed his residency in dermatology in 1999.
He later opened his own private office in Gaziosmanpasa district of Ankara in 2003 while working as a dermatologist at Numune Hospital. In 2007, he resigned from duty in Ankara Numune Hospital Dermatology Department.
Since 1999, he became more interested in Aesthetic Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery and he received training in Turkey and abroad in order to increase his knowledge and experience. Dr. Ekrem Civas carried out his first hair transplantation operation with FUT method in 1999 and his first FUE in 2006.
In the field of hair diseases and hair transplantation, he first worked on basic hair surgery training in Canada and America, and then on sharing experiences and advanced techniques in various clinics in Poland, Sweden and Spain, respectively.
Since 2001, Dr. Ekrem Civas participated in current international meetings and received trainings on Botox, filler applications and face contouring. He focused on safe and natural injections that integrate with the personalized face, laser treatment and nonsurgical anti aging procedure.
He participated in the trainings organized by the Cutera Academy in 2005 New York and 2007 in Barcelona on varicose veins and laser treatment, laser spot treatment and laser non-surgical skin lifting.
In 2009, he published an important scientific study titled N Nd-Yag laser treatment of different vascular lesions which was the first in the field, and the book he published on the same subject was published by Nova Publisher in the USA.
In 2011, Dr.Ekrem Civas received the American Board certificate in the field of hair surgery, and in 2015 was accepted to the Fellow category in America.
ABHRS is one of the most renowned diplomas in the field of hair surgery in the world. He became the first doctor in both countries to receive this title.
He made national and international publications 1 book, 5 book chapters, 30 scientific articles and 22 scientific posters are available in 61 national and international congresses, as an educator, speaker and chairman.
Dr. Civas is Board Certified in Dermatology and a member of Fellows of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS). He became the first doctor in Turkey with the competence of becoming an academician and an advanced Board Review Course Instructor.
